The Iceberg Tour
Qikiqtarjuaq is one of the most picturesque communities in the Arctic, and a stunning part of its charm are the icebergs located in the bay. Qik lies on “Iceberg Alley”, and inevitably giant bergs roll into the bay and are often stuck for years. Our tour will take you, by boat in the summer and by skidoo in the winter out to see these majestic formations. They are only ten minutes from the community, but their awesome size and bearing will astonish you! Icebergs simply are amazing, and to be close up and personal is an unforgettable experience.
|When:||Tuesday and Wednesday morning, Thursday and Friday evening|
|The Price:||$85 per person|
Note: The icebergs can currently be reached by land, and for those interested in hiking to the icebergs, please enquire for availability of a guide.
